Bathing

We are happy to Bathe your furry friend!!

Basic bathing includes the bath, conditioner, trimming the pets nails, cleaning the pets ears, expressing the anal glands, and blow drying the coat.  We are confident in our abilities, however we do not currently employ a professional groomer, so actual haircuts are not anailable for most pets.  Typically we have you drop your pet off in the morning (between 7:30 - 8:30am) and then arrange a pick up time (usually after 2:00pm however it can be as late as 6:00pm)

We require that all patients boarding with us are current on their Distemper vaccine, their Bordatella (Kennel cough) vaccine, as well as the Rabies vaccine.  Bordetella vaccine is required every 6 months, if your pet needs to be updated we are happy to do that while your pet stays with us.  If you are a West Ridge client we have these records. If we do not routinely vaccinate your pet, please bring the records along with you. 

We have a flea free environment. This means that is fleas are seen on your pet we will administer a Capstar to kill all live fleas with in 24 hours, and apply a frontline for flea control at the owners expense.

Some pets are grumpy when it comes to bathing and grooming.  If you have one of those pets, we can sedate or anesthetise as needed and give them a short haircut.  These cases are by special arrangement and the receptionists would be happy to get this special service scheduled.
